Let's Make Thunder.
It’s 2014 and I’m hitting the ground running.
Since 2013, I’ve been working to 2 big arena projects, one for 2014 and another for 2015. While these 2 projects would probably take up a decent amount of my time for the next 2 years, 2014 would also be about re-exploring old territories that I once roamed and making new connections into hot markets with fresh new ideas.
2014 would also be the year that I come out of my reclusion. With new releases laid out throughout the year, I look forward to your support and criticism. Details of these projects and more will be released in a timely manner so stay tuned.
Since the beginning of my career, I’ve always made a point to dedicate a year to an area of expertise, be it genres or a new business approach. This year however, would be about me putting everything I’ve learned into one nifty bundle.
With this dedication, as always, I promise to put my heart and soul into every one of my projects. You deserve the best, and I will do everything I could to ensure that you receive the best.
Fixed travel plans in 2014 include Los Angeles, London, Taiwan and South Korea. The dates for these plans will also be revealed in a timely manner. These are markets that are currently on my radar. However, if there’s something interesting happening in some corner of the world that's not listed here, let me know. As always, I’m constantly on the lookout for fresh new talent from anywhere in the world.
There’s been some talk that I’ve been working on a new album. I will not deny those rumors but at the same time, no fixed plans have been made cater to this new release. You’ll know when I know. And as of right now, that door is still wide open but I have yet to step through it wholeheartedly.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful people at Universal Music for believing in me. And of course to you, my friends and supportive clients, producers, songwriters, song pluggers, music supervisors, managers, engineers, fellow musicians and artists, for finding it worthy to include me in your already talented creative circle.
Fire up those engines. Let’s make thunder.
Have courage.

Thank You 2013
2013 for me was filled with the usual ups and downs and I am grateful for every bit of it.
I am grateful for the opportunities and successes that came my way and I am excited to share all of these with you.
I am grateful for the clarity to see my downs as a form of preparation for bigger things to come, and your empathy when I desperately needed it, even though I spoke nothing of it.
I am grateful for your entertaining posts that made me smile when all I wanted to do was to throw in the towel. Your posts of inspirational anecdotes and kindness, is something I constantly look forward to, in a world that’s seemingly gone to shit. There’s still hope.
To my friends who achieved great success in your career and spiritual journey, I am overjoyed at the idea of good things happening to good people.
To my friends who suffered a great loss, I apologize for not being a better friend in your time of need. I know that sometimes bad things happen to good people, but I am always at a loss every time that happens. I did what I could but I know I could’ve done better. I’m here for you.
To my frenemies, I know why you did it, and I forgive you whole-heartedly. As a friend, I hope you realize that I am on your side. I am not here to rid you of your opportunities nor stand in the way of your success. If anything, I want to assist you in every way possible.
And to those whom I may have offended along the way, I apologize for the hurt that I may have cause, even though I have nothing but good intent for you and the world. My verbal filter is faulty and I'm unable to get a replacement part.
My wish for 2014 is simply for more acts of kindness, random or intended, more empathy towards another man’s plight, more of the good and less of the bad and above all, more courage to face the world with an empty cup and take action on behalf of those without a voice.
So to all of you, regardless of where you are physically, emotionally or spiritually, just know that you are all in my prayers and I wish nothing but the absolute best for each and every one of you.
And with that, thank you for being a part of my ronkedonk-ridiculously awesome 2013. See you on the other side.
Have courage.
There's nothing convenient about pursuing a dream.
There's nothing convenient about pursuing a dream.
You don't pursue a dream because you were born into privilege and this is something you can afford.
You don't pursue a dream because you have talent, or surrounded by situations which nurture your talent.
You don't pursue a dream because opportunities just seem to miraculously come your way.
You don't pursue a dream because the majority says this is the way to go and society applauds you for agreeing.
You don't pursue a dream because you have all you need to ensure success and a backup plan in the event you fail.
You pursue a dream because within you, there's a spark, which lights an unknown desire to be something more to the world. The fire that burns so wildly within you, that if you allow, it will consume the very essence of your soul and eventually define your very existence.
And no matter what the circumstances are, you pursue your dream with sheer tenacity, with absolute fear of dying and falling into oblivion with this bright raging fire still burning within you.
Beyond logic. Beyond comprehension. Against all odds.
There's nothing convenient about pursuing a dream.
Nothing worth doing ever is.
"It's never meant to be easy when you're trying to be more than ordinary."
And so it begins...
And so it begins...
In the wise words of Bon Jovi, "I don't know where I"m going, only God knows where I've been". I've spent a good portion of my life on the road. And that have taken me through great adventures, and it has definitely shaped the way I see the world. As the music industry evolves, what used to work then, may or may not work now. But what I do know for sure is this, this new adventure will continue to surprise as I meet new talents, and old ones, and learn new things. All these will definitely come in handy, as I pursue the elusive hit.
Pop a coin for a fellow brother.
See you on the road.
