There’s nothing convenient about pursuing a dream.

You don’t pursue a dream because you were born into privilege and this is something you can afford.

You don’t pursue a dream because you have talent, or surrounded by situations which nurture your talent.

You don’t pursue a dream because opportunities just seem to miraculously come your way.

You don’t pursue a dream because the majority says this is the way to go and society applauds you for agreeing.

You don’t pursue a dream because you have all you need to ensure success and a backup plan in the event you fail.

You pursue a dream because within you, there’s a spark, which lights an unknown desire to be something more to the world. The fire that burns so wildly within you, that if you allow, it will consume the very essence of your soul and eventually define your very existence.

And no matter what the circumstances are, you pursue your dream with sheer tenacity, with absolute fear of dying and falling into oblivion with this bright raging fire still burning within you.

Beyond logic. Beyond comprehension. Against all odds.

There’s nothing convenient about pursuing a dream.

Nothing worth doing ever is.

“It’s never meant to be easy when you’re trying to be more than ordinary.”
